In celebration of ‘European Maritime Day in our country,’ the Cyprus Marine and Maritime Institute (CMMI) and the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute organized Experiential Activities for primary school students titled “Know, Learn, and Explore the Sea.”

Event Highlights:

The aim was to raise students’ awareness about the marine environment interactively through:

• Physics Experiments in Water: Hands-on activities to understand the physical properties of water.
• Virtual Underwater Tours: Exploring the seabed as marine explorers.
• Marine Robotics: Identifying local fish species and discovering our underwater cultural heritage.
