The EU-funded Horizon Europe project SeaTecHub (GA No. 101087162) is pleased to participate in the European Maritime Day 2026, taking place on 21–22 May in Limassol, Cyprus.

As part of Europe’s flagship event for the maritime community, the project will be represented at the Cyprus Marine and Maritime Institute (CMMI) booth alongside a wide range of marine and maritime research and innovation initiatives contributing to safer, smarter, and more sustainable oceans.

EMD 2026 brings together stakeholders from across the blue economy, including researchers, industry representatives, policymakers, innovators, public authorities, and the wider ocean community to exchange ideas and strengthen collaboration around the future of Europe’s seas and oceans.

The project is represented during EMD 2026 by Fausto Ferreira from the University of Zagreb and Ioannis Kyriakides from the Cyprus Marine and Maritime Institute, who participate in discussions and networking activities throughout the event. Participants are warmly invited to visit the CMMI booth to connect with the project team and learn more about the project’s activities and ambitions.

We look forward to engaging with participants, showcasing the project’s objectives and activities, and contributing to discussions on marine and maritime innovation at European level.
