On April 11, 2024, the SeaTecHub project was presented by consortium partners, Agrifood Croatia, at the first scientific-professional conference on Mariculture in the Adriatic Sea!

The objective of this inaugural scientific-professional conference with international participation, organized by the Department of Ecology, Agronomy, and Aquaculture at the University of Zadar in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, was to facilitate knowledge exchange and foster connections among scientists, experts, producers, government representatives, and NGOs in the field of mariculture and related sciences. The conference emphasized the importance of an interdisciplinary approach and stakeholder engagement to ensure the long-term, sustainable development of mariculture in the Adriatic.

Additionally, the conference marked four decades of marine fish farming in Croatia. Alongside the conference, the Tuna, Sushi & Wine Festival Zadar took place at the same venue.
