As part of our ongoing activities within the SeaTecHub project, 20000 Leagues continues to bring the wonders of the ocean to the classroom! 🌊🤿
On April 7th, 20000 Leagues representatives spent an inspirational afternoon with the 2nd-grade students of Privatna gimnazija Nova in Zadar, diving into the vital topic of marine biodiversity.

Exploring the Connections Between Us and the Ocean

Through an interactive workshop, students learned about:

🔹 The importance of marine biodiversity
🔹 The threats facing marine ecosystems
🔹 How we are all deeply connected to the sea

Using the 7 principles of Ocean Literacy as our guiding thread, we helped students understand why the ocean is essential for life on Earth — and why protecting it is a shared responsibility for us all. 🌍🌊

A Day of Curiosity, Dialogue, and Discovery

The session was filled with lively discussions, insightful questions, and enthusiastic participation. It was inspiring to see young minds so engaged with the critical issues facing our planet’s oceans.
