On Wednesday, 22 October 2025, SeaTecHub held the webinar
“SeaTecHub’s Story: From Idea Conception to Post-Project Ambitions and Vision”, bringing together participants interested in marine innovation, the blue economy, and cross-border cooperation.
The session was led by Dr. Ioannis Kyriakides, Project Coordinator, who guided the audience through SeaTecHub’s journey – from its initial idea to its long-term vision as an HR–Cyprus Centre of Excellence for a healthy and productive sea.
From concept to Centre of Excellence 🌍
During the webinar, Dr. Kyriakides:

Presented the origins and objectives of the SeaTecHub project

Explained how the project strengthens cooperation between Croatia and Cyprus

Showcased the role of SeaTecHub in supporting research, innovation, and policy in the blue sector
Participants gained a clearer picture of how SeaTecHub connects science, technology, industry, and society to tackle challenges in the Mediterranean marine environment.
