On Friday, 26 September 2025, the Cyprus State Fair once again came alive with “Mission Possible: European Researchers’ Night” – the flagship event celebrating science, research, and innovation in Cyprus, organised by the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF). The SeaTecHub project was proudly showcased as part of the Cyprus Marine and Maritime Institute (CMMI) exhibition.

Throughout the evening, the SeaTecHub team introduced visitors to the project’s role in shaping the future of marine and maritime innovation in Cyprus and Croatia. Our booth attracted a steady stream of guests who were keen to discover how SeaTecHub is helping to accelerate technological progress and strengthen collaboration across the blue economy.

SeaTecHub focuses on boosting innovation capacity in the marine and maritime sectors by building strong links between research organisations, industry stakeholders, and policymakers. Many visitors showed particular interest in our work on smart maritime technologies, marine robotics, digitalisation, and sustainable solutions that support greener, smarter seas.

The event brought together a diverse audience – from researchers and students to entrepreneurs, industry representatives, and decision-makers. Their curiosity and engagement underlined the growing recognition of how crucial marine and maritime innovation is for our shared future.
