We are excited to share the success of our 2nd Beach & Seabed Cleaning Event at Tsiflikoudia beach area (Limassol, Cyprus) on Saturday, 25th of May 2024. This special initiative, organized by our project partner Fameline Holding Group in collaboration with Baseblue and the SeaTecHub, was aimed at preserving our marine ecosystem for healthy and productive seas.
The community came together at Tsiflikoudia Beach for a meaningful cleanup event. Volunteers brought their loved ones to share in the experience. All necessary equipment was provided for a safe and efficient cleanup, focusing on both the beach and the sea.
Event Highlights:
- Community Effort: Dedicated volunteers worked hard to clean the beach and restore the natural beauty of the seascape.
- Divers Association: Nautilus Diver Association provided skilled divers for the seabed cleaning.
- Advanced Technology: CMMI’s advanced ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) captured mesmerizing underwater footage, highlighting the importance of marine conservation.
- Teamwork in Action: Divers, volunteers, and technology all contributed to a cleaner and healthier beach.
